Advanced Autometric is a family business, plain and simple. Bryan Ford, a Hillsdale native, trained at Wyoming Technical Institute and was chosen for Mercedes-Benz's elite training program before coming home to open his own shop in 2011. His wife Lisa has worked alongside him for the past 10 years, in the shop and in the office — when you call, you'll talk to Bryan or Lisa directly, not a call center.

That family-first approach carries into how the shop treats every customer. It's the kind of place parents dropping their kids off at Hillsdale College trust with a look at the brakes before the drive home, and the kind of place a neighbor calls when the check engine light comes on.

We're located on S. Hillsdale Road, a short drive from just about anywhere in Hillsdale County and close enough to the Indiana and Ohio lines that plenty of our customers cross a state border to get here.

Our work is ASE Master Certified, and we're one of the only shops in the area that takes on foreign vehicles — BMW, Mercedes, Honda, Volkswagen, Audi, MINI Cooper and Volvo — alongside full domestic and diesel service. That means one shop for the family sedan, the work truck and the import in the driveway.

If your vehicle isn't drivable, Hillsdale Towing operates from the same S. Hillsdale Road lot, which makes getting a towed-in vehicle looked at a lot simpler. (We're neighbors, not a formal partnership.)
